Oomama's Fundraising Committee organizes events in support of the Stephen Lewis Foundation (SLF) and its work to help grandmothers caring for children orphaned by HIV/AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa.

Consisting of lively and motivated women, the group meets monthly to brainstorm and organize. Subcommittees are then formed to steer each project, but receive the support of all Oomamas when an event is ready to go. It's always exciting and lots of fun!

Since 2005, Oomama has raised over $620,000 for the Stephen Lewis Foundation’s Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign.
